After more than a year since the release of “A Dança do Caos”, the newest work by the band Sargaço Nightclub, the single entitled “Fôlego”, arrives on all digital music platforms this Wednesday (22).

Composed music and lyrics by fellow rapper Licio Gomez and given as a gift to be part of the next album of the group's career, the track goes even deeper into the sounds that mix indie rock and electronic music, counting once again with the partnership of Zeca Viana in the production of beats and synthbass, Ingno Silva's synthesizers and Marrê's guitars and voices. Recording and mixing were handled by Sammy Barros (SB Music Studio, in Rosarinho) and mastering by audio engineer from Rio Grande do Norte, Yago Marques.

"Fôlego" has a clear post-punk vein, from the electronic dance beat and bass, through the psychedelic timbres of Ingno Silva's synths and the cutting modulations and distortions of Marrê's guitars.

The lyrics are about the psychological limits reached by people in social isolation, during the most critical period of the COVID 19 pandemic, and are divided into two voices: a “main” one, with more serious tones that refer to the Gothic of the 80s , and the “answers”, more acute and softer, which maintains an aesthetic feature widely worked on by the band, which are the vocal games.
