A humanidade deu certo enquanto invenção?
about
From the project “C’MON - Construção Musical On-line”, developed to bring the audience closer to our composition process, the single "Minimalize Já!" Was born. The initiative was divided into two stages. In the first, people signed up for an entry form and suggested ideas for creating a new song. Now, in the second and last part, we bring the result of the collective brainstorm, with the debut on all digital platforms.
The six authors of the texts selected to integrate the lyrics sewn by Marcelo Rêgo for the melody of Sofia França had their names registered as co-authors of the work. The intention is to bring a message of positivity to the year 2021, in the midst of a pandemic context, making a call to minimalism: the idea that we don't need much to be happy.
The collaborations included members of the new local music scene in Pernambuco, such as the singer Carina Mayara and members of the bands Lady Newton, Conspiracy Alien and Travadores. From the South and Southeast participated the gaucho Carlos Negrito and the poet Ricardo Guima, from Alagoas residing in Belo Horizonte, author of “A Cor do Desejo”, music recorded by Ney Matogrosso on the CD “Beijo Bandido”.
The song was recorded at SB Music Studio, in Casa Forte, North Zone of Recife, with the production in partnership with Sammy Barros and the arrangement included the special participation of cellist Gabriel Conolly, who currently lives in Lisbon.
